Job summary

Unitek Learning is a leading healthcare education organization focused on training nurses and health professionals. This teaching role supports didactic and clinical instruction across multiple programs, with on-site collaboration among students and faculty.

The ideal candidate will maintain up-to-date nursing knowledge, mentor learners, and ensure compliance with clinical requirements and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to teach nursing courses across classroom, lab and clinical settings.
• Ability to mentor students in both theory and clinical practice.
• Current nursing knowledge and strong communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Make continuous efforts to improve quality of instruction by reviewing and utilizing different methodologies in teaching
• Demonstrate or acquire skills for online activities to enhance course content
• Assist with reviewing and revising syllabus and instructional guidelines
• Submit program reports to the Director in a timely manner
• Maintain records and ensure compliance with clinical requirements and immunizations
• Teach courses at various times and locations to meet program needs
• Conduct lectures and supervise clinical rotations (days/evenings/weekends)
• Participate in professional development and CE hours to renew licensure
• Engage in committees as assigned while prioritizing teaching responsibilities
• Collaborate on-site with students, faculty, and staff
• Demonstrate current nursing practice knowledge and ability to mentor students in multiple settings
• Obtain ATI Certification within 30 days of hire and maintain immunizations and BLS
