Job summary

Lake Health District seeks a Nursing Informatics Specialist to support the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. Under the direction of the CDI RN Manager, you will assist with input, programming, and training to maximize system capability and efficiency.

As a part of the Nursing Informatics team, you will integrate nursing, computer, and information science to support clinicians in decision making, guide staff education programs, and work with clinical staff and physicians to solve problems

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program. BSN preferred.
• Two or more years as an RN. One year's experience in Informatics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with input, programming, and training for the EHR to maximize system capability.
• Support nursing informatics by integrating data, information, and knowledge to aid decision making by clinicians.
• Lead and facilitate staff and physician EHR education programs.
