Job summary

U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs seeks an Informaticist Registered Nurse to lead informatics efforts for nursing care within the EHR ecosystem.

You will coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to improve hardware/software applications integrated with the EHR and drive outcomes through data-driven analytics. Preferred candidates have 2+ years in Nursing Informatics, a BSN or MSN, and experience with Oracle Cerner/EHR migrations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by the appropriate accrediting agency and accredited by ACEN or CCNE
• Current, full, active, and unrestricted nursing license in a U.S. state or territory or D.C.
• Formal informatics training and recent experience in Nursing Informatics or Clinical Informatics role

Responsibilities

• Lead assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of hardware/software applied to EHR and related programs
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and program leaders nationwide
• Develop and deploy data visualizations/dashboards in Power BI or equivalent analytics tools
