Mercy Health in Youngstown is seeking a Clinical Nursing Student – Early Career Decision Program. The role provides direct patient care under RN supervision within a temporary immersion experience and hospital policies.

The program emphasizes compassion, teamwork and professional development, with EPIC/EHR training preferred. Candidates are currently enrolled in nursing programs and have HS/GED. बेसिक clinical exposure is expected.

Qualifications

• HS/GED required to start immersion program.
• Currently enrolled in nursing program with immersion experience.
• Ability to clearly communicate with healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Under direction of the RN, supports the nurse in applying the nursing process.
• Develops critical thinking skills through collaboration with the RN.
• Provides basic patient care including hygiene, vital signs, and mobility.
• Acts as liaison between patient and nurse to report changes or concerns.
• Provides high level customer service to patients, families, visitors and staff.
• Maintains accurate, timely patient care documentation.
