*Responsibilities*
  1. Ensure optimal flow and utilization of resources (including staff, equipment, and supplies) to meet patient care needs. Promote patient satisfaction through exceptional service. Collaborate with leaders on operational issues impacting safety.
  2. Facilitate clinical information flow for patient transfer/admission from external clinics, hospitals, and emergency departments. Monitor patient flow until admission, ensuring complete communication for safe handoffs.
  3. Manage patient flow to eliminate delays and reduce potential divert situations.
  4. Participate in developing clinical protocols for the Hospital Admissions Center.
  5. Develop a coordinated team approach with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff. Assign priorities to ensure quality and service. Serve as a resource for operational needs.
  6. Oversee hospital operations, applying clinical knowledge to meet patient needs at the right location and level of care. Manage staffing and unit operations to ensure safe, optimal patient care.
*Qualifications*
  • Bachelor's degree required; BSN preferred.
  • Current Washington RN licensure required.
  • Minimum three years of responsible inpatient operations experience.
  • Strong communication, prioritization, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Preferred: Experience in Emergency Medicine, Critical Care, or Telemetry; knowledge of utilization review.
