Qualifications

• Three years’ medical billing, collection and account resolution experience.
• Nursing home room and board billing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Medicare, CareFirst, Medical Assistance, Commercial insurance, and HMO carriers.
• Strong collection skills and revenue cycle experience.
• Proficient with EMR systems and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage nursing home claims processing from eligibility to resolution.
• Handle inpatient room and board billing.
• Coordinate with nursing home partners and manage large account spreadsheets.
• Ensure Medicaid payments are accurate and valid.
• Manage Epic work queues for timely billing and follow-up.
• Respond to patient and payor inquiries regarding accounts.
