GBMC HealthCare is seeking a billing specialist to perform all billing and collection functions, posting payments in EPIC, and following up on claims within assigned financial classes. The role requires attention to detail, strong communication with insurers and patients, and experience with EMR systems.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of medical billing experience and proficiency with Medicare, Blue Cross, and other carriers.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate’s degree preferred.

Responsabilités

• Manages Epic work queues daily for accurate billing and expedient claims follow-up.
• Performs billing and collection functions on assigned accounts and ensures timely submission of claims.
• Resolves denials and reconciles underpayments/overpayments with payors and patients.
