Job summary

Southeast Rehabilitation & Skilled Care Center in North Easton is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cook to join our kitchen team. You will prepare food according to standardized recipes, ensure proper serving temperatures, and maintain a clean and safe environment to support excellent patient care.

• Maintain visual appeal of food

• Monitor daily nourishments and follow standardized recipes

• Ensure proper portion control

• Adhere to sanitation and storage policy and procedure

• Perform other duties assigned by the manager

Requirements:

• Ability to cook a variety of foods in large quantities
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant
• Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and the general public
• Knowledge of dining service procedures, related laws, regulations, and guidelines
• Ability to lead and supervise professional and non-professional personnel
• Ability to maintain the care and use of supplies, equipment, and work areas
