Job summary

Southeast Rehabilitation & Skilled Care Center in North Easton is seeking a Nursing Home Cook to join the kitchen team. You will prepare food per recipes, ensure serving temperatures, and maintain a clean, safe environment to support patient care.

Responsibilities include following physician-directed diets, maintaining portion control, and upholding sanitation standards while collaborating with the team to deliver quality meals.

Qualifications

• Ability to cook a variety of foods in large quantities.
• Must read/write/speak/understand English.
• Ability to make independent decisions when warranted.
• Ability to deal tactfully with residents, families, visitors and staff.
• Knowledge of dining service procedures, laws, and guidelines.
• Ability to lead and supervise staff.
• Maintain care and use of supplies, equipment and work areas.
• Patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm.

Weekly pay at $17.50 an hour.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our kitchen team. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing food according to standardized recipes, ensuring proper serving temperatures, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. Your passion for food and commitment to excellent patient care will make you a valuable addition to our team.

• Ensure proper serving temperature of food

• Maintain visual appeal of food

• Monitor daily nourishments and follow standardized recipes

• Ensure proper portion control

• Adhere to sanitation and storage policy and procedure

• Perform other duties assigned by the manager

Requirements:

• Ability to cook a variety of foods in large quantities

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language

• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant

• Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and the general public
