Job summary

Royalton Manor in Michigan seeks an experienced facility administrator to lead operations, growth, quality of care and profitability, while upholding company systems, programs for quality and compliance, and representing the organization’s mission. You will supervise management staff, interview and hire, conduct evaluations, recognize and discipline staff, handle complaints, and ensure staff performance.

A Bachelor’s degree and current Administrator’s license are required; advanced degree

Qualifications

• Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent. Advanced degree preferred.
• Proven leadership ability with at least three (3) years experience as an administrator in either a long term or sub-acute care facility.
• Current Administrator’s license in the state.

Responsibilities

• Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizational policies and applicable laws.
• Interviews and hires management staff.
• Prepares performance evaluations for staff.
• Meaningfully rewards and disciplines staff.
• Receives and resolves complaints.
• Disciplines employees up to and including discharge.
• Adequately supervises assigned staff and assures that those staff are supervising employees assigned to them.
• Monitors and corrects job performance of management staff.
• Uses independent judgment and discretion on behalf of the organization in the performance of these duties.
