Qualifications

• Must have current NHA license.
• 2+ years’ NHA experience.
• Strong leadership, clinical and management skills in long-term care.
• Thorough knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations governing long-term care facilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervision of department employees for training, payroll, performance, evaluations, and discipline.
• Manage all services within and among departments to maintain a high quality of care.
• Promote effective relations and communications within the department and with families and visitors.
• Resolve issues within and among other departments to maintain a functional working relationship.
• Complete regular rounds of the health care center to inspect operations and programs.
• Ensure the facility remains in compliance with all government regulations.
• Monitor and evaluate quality standards and implement QAPI programs as needed.
• Engage in strategic forecasting for the department with RDO.
