Job summary

Apploi in the Toledo, OH area seeks an experienced Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) to lead the daily operations of a skilled nursing facility. The role emphasizes high-quality resident care, a positive workplace culture, regulatory compliance, and strong clinical and operational outcomes.

The LNHA will oversee budgets, census development, QAPI initiatives, and staff development, while nurturing relationships with residents, families, physicians, and community partners to drive

Qualifications

• Current Ohio LNHA license required.
• Experience managing a skilled nursing facility preferred.
• Strong CMS/Ohio Dept of Health regulatory knowledge.
• Demonstrated leadership and team-building skills.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.
• Knowledge of nursing facility operations, budgets, staffing and compliance.
• Ability to build positive relationships with residents, families and employees.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the skilled nursing facility
• Provide leadership and direction to department managers and staff
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
• Maintain strong relationships with residents, families, employees, physicians, and community partners
• Monitor quality of care, resident satisfaction, and clinical outcomes
• Support census development, admissions, and overall occupancy goals
• Manage facility budgets, expenses, and financial performance
• Lead Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives
• Prepare for and successfully manage state and federal surveys
• Recruit, retain, coach, and develop high-performing staff
• Promote a positive, respectful, and team-oriented work environment
• Ensure policies, procedures, and standards of care are consistently followed
• Identify opportunities for operational improvement and implement effective solutions
