Job summary

Otterbein SeniorLife is seeking a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) to create and sustain a high-quality living environment for elders. The role emphasizes safeguarding against an institutional mindset, ensuring regulatory compliance, and leading a collaborative clinical support team.

The LNHA will also drive marketing, public relations, and community advocacy while maintaining strong relationships with elders and families. Ohio licensure is required, with a BS/BA in a related field.

Qualifications

• Recognize the autonomy and dignity of all elders.
• Communicate a sense of caring, concern, and dignity for elders.
• Understand how to place decision-making in the hands of the elders whenever possible and appropriate.
• Make prompt and accurate judgments with regard to elder care and emergencies.
• Work and communicate effectively with the self-directed work teams.

Responsibilities

• Safeguards the Neighborhood against an institutional mindset.
• Ensures compliance with staffing requirements and regulations.
• Facilitates daily Neighborhood stand-up meetings.
• Completes the Daily Checklist and discusses observations with the coach and team.
• Leads the Clinical Support Team (CST).
• Monitors regulatory compliance across all homes.
• Oversees business office functions.
• Fosters relationships with elders and families.
• Manages marketing, public relations, and advocacy in the community.
• Acts as risk manager for the small house and participates in QA committees.
