Responsibilities

• Directly supervises Facility Department Directors and ensures staff perform appropriately.
• Establishes and maintains personnel and department policies and procedures.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local standards for Nursing Facility operation.
• Interviews and selects competent personnel to supervise all departments.
• Participates in in-service training for supervisory personnel and staff.
• Prepares annual budget for the facility and reviews financial status monthly.
• Represents the Nursing Facility with agencies and third-party payers.
