Job summary

Grand Canyon University seeks a full-time Lab/Clinical Nursing Faculty in the Critical Care area. The role involves teaching in clinical and lab settings for pre-licensure nursing, evaluating student progress, and collaborating with faculty to ensure accreditation standards are met.

Requires MSN and current FL RN license (or compact state) with at least 2 years ICU/Acute Care experience, plus teaching preference. On-site at Miramar and travel to clinical sites may be required.

Qualifications

• MSN required and RN licensed in FL or compact state.
• Minimum of 2 years ICU/Acute Care nursing in the last two years.
• Prior collegiate teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reinforces didactic content and teaches in clinical and lab settings for pre-licensure Nursing.
• Collaborates with content area faculty to document student progress toward objectives.
• Participates in grading written and Clinical/Lab performance check-offs.
• Maintains communication with program faculty and director and attends selected faculty meetings.
• Remains current with trends in nursing practice and supports program accreditation.
