Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in the applicable state.
• MSN required; BSN considered depending on campus needs.
• Minimum of two years of clinical nursing experience.

• Implements teaching strategies suited to learner needs and context.
• Helps students develop as nurses and model professional values.
• Assesses and evaluates student learning across classroom, lab, and clinical settings.
• Analyzes assessment data to drive continuous course improvement.
• Designs program assessments aligned with PSLOs and curriculum.
• Participates in faculty development to strengthen the educator role.
• Maintains current nursing practice knowledge for contemporary instruction.
• Upholds Galen’s mission and values of excellence, compassion, accountability, and inclusivity.
• Performs other responsibilities per state board requirements.
