Qualifications

• Active RN license in the applicable state as a Registered Nurse.
• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) required; BSN may be considered depending on campus needs.
• Minimum of two years of RN clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate learning and learner development in classroom, lab, and clinical settings.
• Employ diverse teaching strategies aligned to learner needs and outcomes.
• Guide students to develop professional values and nursing competencies.
• Use assessments to inform continuous course improvement and program outcomes.
• Contribute to curriculum design, implementation, and evaluation with PSLOs.
• Design program assessments for quality improvement across the program.
• Engage in professional development and scholarship to enhance faculty effectiveness.
• Maintain up‑to‑date professional practice knowledge for contemporary nursing care.
• Uphold the college mission and values: excellence, compassion, accountability, inclusivity.
• Fulfill other essential responsibilities per state board of nursing.
