Qualifications

• Active, current, unencumbered RN license in applicable state.
• MSN degree required; BSN considered if MSN in progress.
• Minimum of two years of clinical RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Create an environment that facilitates learning and achieving outcomes.
• Implements teaching strategies appropriate to learner needs, content, and context.
• Helps students develop as nurses and model professional values.
• Uses a variety of assessment and evaluation strategies in classroom, lab, or clinical settings.
• Analyzes student assessment data to inform continuous course improvement.
• Implements a curriculum with clearly articulated program student learning outcomes (PSLOs).
• Designs and implements program assessments that promote continuous quality improvement.
• Engages in professional development activities to increase effectiveness of the faculty role.
• Maintains professional practice knowledge to help students prepare for contemporary nursing practice.
• Demonstrates commitment to the College’s mission and values of excellence, compassion, accountability, inclusivity.
• Fulfills other essential responsibilities as outlined by the applicable state board of nursing.
