Job summary

Hondros College of Nursing invites qualified candidates to join our team as Nursing Instructors on a full- or part-time basis. Day, evening, and weekend schedules are available to accommodate campus operations and student needs.

Instructors will teach in clinical sites, labs, or classrooms, ensure effective curriculum delivery, and supervise students while fostering engagement and high-quality patient care learning experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Nursing (BSN or MSN) required.
• Three or more years full-time RN experience for Clinical Faculty.
• Three years full-time RN experience for Lecture Faculty.
• Active RN license in OH, IN, or MI with no encumbrances.
• Official transcripts from accredited institution.
• Current/Active American Heart Association BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Instruct students off campus at our clinical sites and/or in a lab setting.
• Promote a positive learning environment and work collaboratively to assure full instruction of the clinical component of the curriculum.
• Create a high level of student engagement by planning the student clinical experience.
• Supervise and orient students to the clinical site and applicable policies.
• Evaluate each student’s achievement and progress, providing feedback.
• Participate as a member of the Faculty Organization and Campus Curriculum Committees.
