Job summary

The University of Dubuque seeks a full-time Faculty in Nursing with a student-centered approach and experience in obstetrics, community health, and/or psychiatric nursing. The ideal candidate will mentor undergraduates in research and career preparation while teaching in both clinical and classroom settings.

Responsibilities include maintaining a 24-credit-hour annual load, ongoing assessment, mentoring students, and contributing to scholarship, service, and campus community engagement.

Qualifications

• MSN required; Doctoral degree preferred.
• Experience in medical-surgical, obstetrics, community health, and/or psychiatric nursing.
• Strong teaching, mentoring and advising abilities.

Responsibilities

• Teach and advise students with a student-centered approach.
• Maintain a full teaching load and contribute to assessment and curriculum development.
• Support student research, internships, and experiential learning opportunities.
