Galen College of Nursing seeks a nursing faculty member to engage in the full scope of the academic nurse educator role. Responsibilities include facilitating learning, employing diverse assessment methods, and contributing to curriculum development under state and federal guidelines.

The role emphasizes scholarship, leadership, and ongoing development while ensuring quality nursing education across clinical and classroom environments.

Formación

• Active, current, unencumbered RN licensure in applicable state as required by the State Board of Nursing.
• Minimum of a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree is required.
• Minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse, per State Board of Nursing requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Creates an environment that facilitates learning and achieving desired student learning and program outcomes.
• Implements teaching strategies suited to learner needs and context.
• Helps students develop as nurses and integrate expected values and behaviors.
• Uses assessment strategies to evaluate student learning in classroom, lab, and clinical settings.
• Analyzes student data to inform continuous course improvement.
• Designs and implements program assessments to promote quality improvement.
• Participates in professional development to enhance the faculty role.
• Maintains professional practice knowledge for contemporary nursing practice.
• Complies with applicable state board of nursing regulations.
