Galen College of Nursing seeks an experienced nursing faculty member to educate and empower future nurses. The role involves delivering the full scope of academic nurse educator duties, curriculum development, learner assessment, and participation in program outcomes evaluation within a collaborative HCA-affiliated environment.

Qualifications

• Active, current, unencumbered RN licensure in the applicable state.
• MSN degree required; BSN-prepared nurses may be considered depending on campus needs.

Responsibilities

• Create an environment that facilitates learning and achieves program outcomes.
• Implement varied teaching strategies for diverse learner needs and contexts.
• Help students develop as nurses and integrate professional values and behaviors.
• Assess and evaluate student learning across settings and domains (cognitive, psychomotor, affective).
• Analyze assessment data to inform ongoing course improvement.
• Implement PSLO-aligned curriculum and assess program outcomes.
• Design program assessments to promote continuous quality improvement.
• Participate in professional development to strengthen faculty effectiveness.
• Maintain current knowledge to prepare students for contemporary nursing practice.
• Align with the College mission and values of excellence, compassion, accountability, and inclusivity.
• Fulfill responsibilities per state board and accrediting requirements.
