Qualifications

• A master’s degree in nursing is required.
• An unencumbered RN license in the state of Michigan.
• A minimum of 5 years of recent clinical experience.
• Demonstrated commitment to excellence in undergraduate education and teaching.
• Willingness to support a strong team-based work environment.
• Ability to teach in classroom and clinical settings.

Responsibilities

• Teach 12-15 credits of clinical and/or didactic nursing courses in areas of expertise (in-person and/or online).
• Participate in assessment and continuous improvement of assigned courses.
• Spend additional time with students in mentoring roles in the classroom and during office hours.
• Model professional subject matter expertise with a Christian Worldview.
• Demonstrate strong personal faith commitment in and out of the classroom.
• Assist with recruitment and retention of nursing students.
• Participate in departmental, school, and university committees and initiatives.
