Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• Active Tennessee nursing license (or compact state license).
• Recent professional practice in health care facility or educational setting.
• Teaching experience with technology, online instructional tools, and mobile devices.
• Meets Clinical Health Care Requirements.

Responsibilities

• Teach a full range of college-level Nursing classes, including on-ground, online, hybrid, and off-campus formats.
• Develop and evaluate curriculum; provide academic advisement for nursing students.
• Complete required reports such as attendance and grade submissions.
• Maintain office hours and assist in departmental scheduling and coordination.
• Promote transfer opportunities and collaboration with external partners to support student success.
• Evaluate progress to meet department goals and foster professional growth.
• Collaborate with library and other departments to support instructional resources.
