Job summary

Fayetteville Center for Nursing and Healing, part of Empire Care Centers, is seeking a Cook to join our on-site kitchen team. You will prepare a wide variety of menu items from prescribed recipes, maintain cleanliness, and collaborate with residents, staff, and vendors to deliver quality meals.

Requirements include at least 2 years of institutional cooking experience; Serv Safe certification is preferred or commitment to training within 90 days.

Qualifications

• 2 years of institutional-style cooking experience.
• Serv Safe Certification preferred, or willing to get trained within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of a wide variety of menu items according to prescribed recipes.
• Cleans and maintains work areas, utensils, and equipment.
• Consistently maintains standards of quality, cost, presentation, and flavor of foods.
• Works closely with all residents, staff members, and vendors.
• Additional tasks as assigned.
