Job summary

Legacy Healthcare is seeking an experienced Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) to provide executive leadership for a skilled nursing facility in Illinois. Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted LNHA license in the applicable state.
• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, nursing, or a related field preferred.
• Experience leading a skilled nursing, long-term care, post-acute care, or related healthcare environment.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state nursing facility regulations and survey processes.
• Demonstrated experience managing staff, budgets, quality initiatives, and facility operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and day-to-day operational management of the nursing facility.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including CMS, state Department of Public Health, and applicable licensing requirements.
• Maintain a strong culture of resident-centered care, safety, dignity, and quality.
• Lead and support department directors, nursing leadership, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Monitor clinical, operational, staffing, and quality metrics and implement corrective action when needed.
• Oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of facility policies and procedures.
• Prepare for and successfully manage regulatory surveys, audits, inspections, and complaint investigations.
