Job summary
Legacy Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) to provide strategic leadership for a skilled nursing facility in Illinois. You will oversee daily operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive high-quality, resident-centered care in a safe and compliant environment.
You will lead interdisciplinary teams, manage budgets and staffing, and partner with clinical leadership to improve outcomes and satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) license required in the applicable state.
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, nursing, or related field preferred.
- Previous leadership experience in skilled nursing or long-term care settings.
- Solid knowledge of federal and state nursing facility regulations and survey processes.
- Experience managing staff, budgets, quality initiatives, and facility operations.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide overall leadership and day-to-day operational management of the nursing facility.
- Ensure compliance with CMS, state regulations, and licensing requirements.
- Maintain resident-centered care, safety, dignity, and quality.
- Lead department directors and interdisciplinary teams.
- Monitor metrics and implement corrective action as needed.
- Develop and evaluate facility policies and procedures.
- Prepare for regulatory surveys, audits, and investigations.
- Manage annual operating budget, census goals, and labor costs.
- Promote quality outcomes and regulatory compliance with clinical leadership.
- Oversee staffing, recruitment, retention, and employee engagement.
