Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an approved nursing program and have completed fundamentals of nursing.
• Must provide proof of continuous enrollment to maintain employment.
• Current CPR/BLS certification required.
• Qualified to work with neonatal, infant, toddler, school-age, adolescent, adult and/or geriatric populations as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff in patient care per established policies and procedures.
• Take and record vital signs and monitor patient status.
• Collect, prepare, forward and transport specimens.
• Maintain patient records and unit supplies; document care and patient responses.
• Perform clerical duties related to admissions, discharges, and charting.
• Provide one-on-one supervision for patients requiring close observation.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and adhere to HIPAA/compliance policies.
