Advocate Health Care is seeking a Nurse Extern to support patient care in the Charlotte area. You will assist with daily living activities, vital signs, hygiene, and mobility, while learning ECG and venipuncture procedures under supervision.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, current RN program status, and NC Nurse Aide I/II registry listings prior to start date. Eligibility for the program includes Basic Life Support certification.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Currently in good standing in Registered Nurse academic program required.
• Successful completion of Junior year or equivalent at Nurse Extern program required.
• Current listing with the NC Nurse Aide I Registry and NC Board of Nursing for NA I/II prior to start date.

Responsabilidades

• Supports patients with activities of daily living.
• Assists with personal hygiene.
• Takes vital signs and measurements.
• Assists with feeding and mobility per procedures.
• Keeps rooms clean and organized.
• Observes and reports changes in patient conditions.
• Instructs patients and families on safety measures.
• Performs clerical tasks and maintains medical records.
• Maintains inventory of supplies.
• Performs duties per Nurse Aide I/II tasks; ECG and venipuncture as trained.
