Job summary

Mercyhealth seeks an experienced Manager of Inpatient Nursing to provide strategic and operational leadership across Outpatient Surgery, PACU, Pre-Anesthesia, and IV Therapy, ensuring safe, high-quality, patient-centered care. The role oversees clinical operations, staff development, regulatory compliance, and improvement initiatives while promoting collaboration and excellence.

Responsibilities include budgeting, staffing, performance improvement, and maintaining patient satisfaction targets.

Qualifications

• BSN required; MSN preferred.
• 2–4 years of progressively responsible hospital nursing leadership experience.
• Certification in specialty desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for Inpatient Nursing services, including PACU, Pre-Anesthesia and IV Therapy.
• Oversee staff development, regulatory compliance, and performance improvement.
• Lead budget planning and staffing to meet patient care objectives and productivity targets.
• Foster collaboration across departments and promote a culture of excellence and patient safety.
