Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing or equivalent education and experience
• Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience
• One (1) year of leadership experience
• Registered Nurse: CA
• BLS through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• ACLS through the American Heart Association (AHA)

Responsibilities

• Supervises nursing staff assigned to a particular shift, considering patient condition and staff skill
• Assesses, monitors, and educates the nursing staff on patient care; institutes emergency procedures as necessary
• Anticipates staffing needs and moves proactively to respond to them
• Oversees stocking of supplies and updating patient records to ensure readiness for the next shift
