Job summary

Tucson Medical Center Rincon is seeking an Associate Chief Nursing Officer to support the CNO in executive management of nursing resources, strategy, and development for inpatient areas at TMC Rincon.

The ACNO will advance policies, improve staff retention, and foster leadership growth, with the aim of preparing future CNOs. This full‑time role requires a nursing leadership background and a track record of clinical excellence.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in nursing required.
Master's degree in nursing or related field preferred.
Five years of management and supervisory nursing experience required; recent leadership in a hospital setting.
Arizona RN licensure required; professional nursing certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist the CNO in developing and managing the nursing services budget.
Ensure adequate staff to meet patient needs and maintain quality care.
Lead performance improvement initiatives and patient safety programs.
Collaborate with departments to align nursing services with organizational priorities.
Plan and implement renovation, expansion, or construction projects affecting patient care areas.
Support recruitment, retention, and professional development of nursing staff.
