Job summary

Banner Rehabilitation Hospital - Tucson, in partnership with Select Medical, seeks a Chief Nursing Officer to lead nursing services, establish clinical standards, and advance patient care quality across the hospital.

The CNO will manage nursing teams, coordinate with medical and support functions, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive staffing, professional development and performance improvement to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• MSN or equivalent Masters in Healthcare or enrollment in Masters program.
• Current RN licensure in state.
• 3–5 years hospital nursing experience.
• 3+ years managerial or supervisory experience.
• BLS certification as of hire date.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Steer progressive clinical excellence through staff development.
• Share responsibility for employee engagement, recruitment and retention.
• Provide nursing care to patients with acute medical conditions.
• Assign nursing personnel and act as resource and consultant.
• Implement company standards of care, policies and procedures.
• Ensure all regulatory requirements are met.
• Collaborate with hospital leadership to achieve best patient outcomes.
