Job summary

You will design engaging courses, evaluate students, mentor faculty, participate in service and scholarship activities aligned with Chamberlain's mission and Chamberlain Care®. The role emphasizes licensure compliance and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nursing required; PhD preferred.
• Current, unencumbered nursing licensure in Louisiana or eligibility to obtain.
• Minimum of 2 years nursing clinical experience.
• Excellent communication skills and high initiative.
• Proficiency with LMS, simulation equipment, and online platforms; ability to work with AI.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned nursing courses (classroom, online, clinical, labs, simulation).
• Input and implement course curriculum and teaching materials.
• Foster relationships with students and identify individual needs.
• Evaluate student performance and provide remediation as needed.
• Lead clinical learning and ensure students are practice-ready; partner with faculty leading labs.
• Contribute to the Chamberlain community through professional service and committees.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to students and new faculty.
• Engage in scholarly activities related to teaching and nursing practice.
• Maintain current subject matter and teaching skills through development.
• Follow policies related to students and stay updated on changes.
