Job summary

Nexion Health, Inc. is seeking a Staff Development Coordinator for Grenada Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Grenada, MS. The role focuses on designing and delivering education across all shifts and departments, while supporting staff evaluations and new-hire orientation.

The ideal candidate holds an LPN/LVN license (RN preferred) with prior long-term care experience. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package, ongoing CE, and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• LPN/LVN license required, RN preferred.
• Experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing required.

Responsibilities

• Designs, plans and provides education programs on all shifts and for all departments.
• Participates in the staff evaluation process by providing attendance records and observation of associate's performance.
• Provides general facility orientation to all new associates and ongoing in-service education.
• Maintains current education records of classes and content of in-services conducted, attendance and performance of facility associates.
• Plans and provides an annual schedule of planned education programs.
