Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking a Nursing Education Specialist (NES) to support Medical Oncology and Radiation Oncology, and to assist the Nursing Professional Development division. The NES will plan, implement and evaluate education through a system model for Nursing staff, including orientation, continuing education, and competency programs.

The role emphasizes learning facilitation, change leadership, mentoring, and partnership for practice transitions, with TN sponsorship available and licensure

Qualifications

Experience in educational programming for nursing staff.
BLS competency is highly recommended for this role.
Certification in nursing professional development is preferred.
Current RN license required by state regulation.

Responsibilities

Support Medical Oncology and Radiation Oncology education.
Plan, implement and evaluate educational activities.
Facilitate learning and mentor Nursing Professional Development staff.
