Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking a Nursing Education Specialist to support Medical Oncology and Radiation Oncology, advancing the Nursing Professional Development division. You will plan and deliver education programs, orient new staff, and support competency development across the nursing team.

The role requires leadership in education, collaboration with clinical departments, and mentoring of nurses, with TN sponsorship possible and state licensure required. Full-time, day schedule in Minnesota.

Qualifications

• Experience in educational programming.
• Demonstrated teaching skills.
• Certification in nursing professional development is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn, plan, implement and evaluate educational activities for Nursing staff.
• Coordinate orientation, continuing education, and competency programs.
• Collaborate with the Nursing Professional Development division and departments.
• Serve as learning facilitator, mentor, and change agent.
