Chamberlain University is looking for a Specialist who collaborates with academic partners, faculty and staff to provide strategies and academic reinforcement to students throughout their program and as they prepare for NCLEX-RN success. They work with individuals and small groups to assess learning styles, identify strengths, and create remediation plans for academic and professional success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in nursing required.
• 2+ years bedside nursing experience.
• Current/unencumbered RN license required.
• Master's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• 1+ year experience in an academic environment preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work with diverse backgrounds.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.

Responsabilités

• Facilitate simulation-based experiences and labs including equipment setup and cleanup.
• Provide NCLEX-RN guidance and academic support to students.
• Assist in creating NCLEX activities and workshops.
• Demonstrate professional behavior and effective communication with students and staff.
• Report student progress to academic leadership and assist with remediation planning.
• Develop clinically based scenarios for simulated learning experiences.
• Coordinate and supervise lab experiences to meet course objectives.
• Provide tutoring and outreach to at-risk students.
