Job summary

Covista is seeking a Student Learning Specialist to partner with faculty, academic leaders, and students to deliver academic support, hands-on clinical learning experiences, and NCLEX readiness that build knowledge, confidence, and clinical skills.

You will coordinate SBEs and clinical labs, develop realistic simulation scenarios with high-fidelity simulators, and supervise labs to ensure competency.

Qualifications

• BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) required.
• Current, unencumbered RN license.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• BLS/CPR Instructor certification.
• Strong communication skills (in person, phone, tech).
• Excellent analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and detail orientation.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, facilitate, and supervise simulation-based experiences (SBEs) and clinical laboratory activities.
• Assist in developing realistic, clinically focused simulation scenarios with high-fidelity simulators.
• Ensure laboratory experiences align with course objectives and assess competency.
• Staff open laboratory sessions and oversee student practice, skills development, and remediation.
• Manage simulation and laboratory operations, including equipment maintenance and supplies ordering.
