Job summary

Chamberlain University in Nashville, TN seeks a Specialist to provide strategies and academic reinforcement for students throughout their programs, helping them prepare for NCLEX-RN success.

The role involves individual and small-group work, remediation plans, and support for clinical labs and simulations in a collaborative, partially in-person setting. Bachelor's in nursing is required; Master’s degrees preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license required and relevant degrees as stated.
• Excellent communication and technical skills.
• Experience in academic environment; tutoring preferred.
• Ability to work with diverse backgrounds.
• MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate simulation-based experiences and labs, including setup and cleanup.
• Maintain current NCLEX knowledge to provide academic support.
• Assist in creating Next Generation NCLEX activities/workshops.
• Document and report student progress to leadership.
• Coordinate and supervise lab experiences to meet course objectives.
• Provide tutoring to individuals or groups.
• Participate in outreach to students at risk.
• Comply with policies and standards.
