Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Hillcrest Campus seeks a Nursing Professional Development Specialist to design, implement, and evaluate education for nurses. This role will travel to support departments, ensuring ongoing professional development aligned with evidence-based practice and patient care excellence.

The ideal candidate holds a BSN, RN licensure, and 2+ years of nursing education or preceptorship experience, with preferred MSN and specialty certification.

Qualifications

• Design, direct, implement, and evaluate nursing education programs.
• Identify learning needs of nursing staff and develop curricula.
• Demonstrate knowledge of education methodologies and adult learning principles.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and evaluate educational offerings for nursing staff.
• Identify learning needs and tailor programs accordingly.
• Develop evaluation systems to measure effectiveness of activities.
• Collaborate with Nursing Institute, Ambulatory Nursing, and community partners.
• Assist in developing department orientation and competencies.
• Assist departments with staff orientation.
