Job summary
BayCare in Tampa, FL seeks a Director of Nursing Development Practice (East Region) to lead clinical education services, organize leadership development, orientation, continuing education, in-service programs, and competency assessment with clinical consultant activities.
You will promote evidence-based nursing care, support retention and nursing research, partner with schools, and oversee audiovisual services and the Graduate Nurse Residency Program.

- Leadership and people-management capabilities.
- Experience directing clinical education programs.
- Strong nursing background with leadership responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Manage Education Specialists, Education Generalist, Education Assistant, Operations Coordinator and Media Specialist.
- Plan, organize, direct and evaluate clinical education services.
- Lead leadership development, orientation, continuing education, in-service, competency assessment, and clinical consultant activities.
- Ensure JCAHO readiness, professional nursing practice, retention, research, school partnerships, AV services, and Graduate Nurse Residency Program.
- Promote evidence-based nursing care and clinical excellence.
