The role ensures staff have the knowledge and skills to deliver safe, high-quality patient care and comply with accreditation standards. Collaboration with department leaders and a culture of lifelong learning are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of seven (7) years of progressive nursing experience.
• Minimum of three (3) years in education or leadership in an acute care setting.
• BSN degree is required.
• Current RN licensure in Florida.
• Current BLS Certification through American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight of all hospital education programs.
• Oversee New Employee Orientation (NEO), clinical orientation, and competency validation.
• Lead leadership development and continuing education initiatives.
• Collaborate with department leaders to identify learning needs and develop education initiatives.
• Foster a culture of professional growth and lifelong learning and ensure compliance with accreditation standards.

Education

Seven years of progressive nursing experience

Three years in education or leadership role in an acute care setting

BSN

Current RN licensure in Florida

Current BLS Certification

Master's degree (preferred)
