Job summary

AdventHealth is looking for a Nursing Education professional to design curricula, develop education programs, and evaluate learning outcomes for nurses in a clinical setting. The role supports bedside nursing staff through the Professional Enhancement Program (PEP) and residency initiatives.

Ideal candidates will hold a Bachelor’s in Nursing with a Master’s preferred, have 5+ years of nursing experience, and possess strong communication and leadership skills to mentor teams and advance patient

• Knowledge of professional nursing principles and patient care.
• Adult learning principles, methods of education delivery, and ability to facilitate learners' achievement of objectives.
• Computer skills in Microsoft Office and adaptability to new software programs.
• Effective communication skills and ability to present to groups.

Responsibilities

• Designs curricula and develops programs of study.
• Guides learners and evaluates learning outcomes.
• Plan, prepare, and maintain educational materials.
• Assist students and practicing nurses in learning needs and opportunities.
• Coordinate orientation of new staff into the organization.
• Evaluate educational programming and adjust content.
• Support nursing staff with professional development programs.
• Participate in residency and clinical education activities.
