Job summary

Maple View, an affiliate of National Health Care Associates, in Rocky Hill, CT, seeks a Staff Development Coordinator (RN, full-time). You will design, implement, and oversee training programs to empower our team to deliver high-quality care and meet program objectives aligned with our mission.

You will lead orientation, assess needs, collaborate with department heads to ensure regulatory compliance, mentor staff, and drive continuous improvement in nursing care.

Qualifications

• Valid state nursing license.
• Experience in a nursing leadership role in a Long-Term Care setting preferred.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in staff education and development.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Compassionate, empathetic approach to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, and deliver orientation and ongoing training programs for staff.
• Assess training needs, develop curriculum, and implement educational strategies.
• Collaborate with department heads to align training with regulatory requirements.
• Provide mentoring, coaching, and support to staff.
• Coordinate new-hire orientation and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and maintain training records.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement in nursing care.
