Job summary

Shore Acres Care Center seeks an Assistant Director of Nursing to lead nursing staff education and clinical leadership in a long-term care environment. The ADON will interpret center policies and ensure regulatory compliance to improve patient care and optimize staff time and abilities.

The role requires an RN license, Infection Control certification, CPR & IV certification and strong leadership. This is a salaried, flexible schedule position emphasizing growth and continuing education.

Qualifications

• RN license required and CPR/IV certification required.
• Infection control knowledge and leadership experience preferred.
• Experience in staff education and clinical supervision is essential.

Responsibilities

• Educate nursing staff on clinical practices and center policies.
• Perform infection control duties as part of quality assurance.
• Assist in hiring, retention, discipline and performance evaluations of clinical staff.
