Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, healthcare, administration, business or related field.
• Two years' experience in communications, healthcare, administration or business environment.
• Demonstrated leadership, professionalism, problem-solving, and self-directive skills.
• Ability to work effectively as a member of a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated skills in collaboration and coordination.
• Able to make independent decisions and meet deadlines.
• Working knowledge of word processing, data base management, and meeting management software.

Responsibilities

• Support the Department of Nursing Orientation Program and the Nursing Professional Development Division.
• Exercise initiative, exhibit organizational skills and use problem solving and decision making skills.
• Manage many activities and challenges with minimal direction.
• Act as a facilitator and resource person in planning, providing and evaluating nursing education programs.
• Oversee programs and projects and assure appropriate documentation for governing/accrediting agencies.
• Promote a positive image and maintain relationships with internal and external customers.
• A subset of the employees may be required to routinely drive as part of their job responsibilities.
