Job summary

Galen College of Nursing seeks a full-time Nursing Faculty to educate and empower the next generation of nurses. The role emphasizes facilitating learning, implementing diverse teaching strategies, and evaluating student outcomes within classroom, lab, and clinical settings.

The candidate must hold an MSN (or be BSN-prepared while completing MSN) and have at least two years of clinical RN experience, with licensure active and unencumbered.

Qualifications

• Active, current, unencumbered RN licensure in the applicable state.
• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) required; BSN-prepared nurses may be considered if working on completing MSN.
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience as an RN.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate learning and learner development across classroom, lab, and clinical settings.
• Use assessment and evaluation strategies to measure student outcomes.
• Engage in curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation; contribute to program outcomes.
• Promote continuous quality improvement of the nursing program through assessment data.
