You will establish an educational model, organize a centralized department, and lead interprofessional teams while integrating health information technology to advance professional excellence.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing is required.
• 5 years of experience as a nurse educator is required.
• PhD is preferred.
• Current PA RN licensure or multi-state licensure through eNLC is required.
• CPR certification from the American Heart Association is required.
• Act 34, Act 33 and Act 73/FBI background clearances are required.

Responsibilities

• Establish an educational model/process for standardization of nursing education.
• Organize and implement a centralized nursing education department.
• Select, direct, evaluate, and recommend disciplinary action for staff.
• Plan and oversee initiatives to create a culture of professional excellence.
• Lead teams to drive cultural change incorporating systems thinking.
• Incorporate health information technology into nursing education.
• Create a certified centralized staff education team focused on shared decision making.
• Communicate effectively with interprofessional teams and organize meetings.
