Cleveland Clinic Tradition Hospital in Port Saint Lucie, FL is seeking a Nursing Professional Development Specialist to plan, develop, and facilitate onboarding and ongoing education for nursing staff. The role emphasizes mentoring, curriculum development, and clinical coaching in a busy hospital setting.

You will design and evaluate educational offerings, identify learning needs, and support department orientation and competency development for diverse nursing teams.

Qualifications

• Two years of recent nursing experience with demonstrated clinical expertise.
• Three to five years of recent inpatient nursing experience preferred.
• Two to three years of educational experience or equivalent preferred.

Responsabilités

• Design, direct, implement, and evaluate educational offerings for nursing staff.
• Identify learning needs and desires of nursing personnel.
• Develop and utilize evaluation systems to assess educational activities' effectiveness.
• Consult with individuals regarding professional nursing practice and roles.
• Assist in the development of department-specific orientation and competencies.
• Assist departments in the orientation of caregivers.
• Develop and maintain a cataloging system for teaching-learning resources.
